At no point during the production process of instant coffee are gluten-containing ingredients used. In fact, the only thing that goes into the production of Nescafé Gold Blend is good ol’ coffee beans.

Nescafé Gold Blend has also been confirmed as gluten-free by Nescafé themselves in their Gluten Avoidance PDF, which can be found here.

To paraphrase the document:

Nescafé Gold… does not contain ingredients containing gluten, namely wheat, oats, rye, barley and spelt and/or; does not have ingredients derived from these cereals and have not been processed on equipment containing these ingredients”

So, you can rest easy knowing that your morning cuppa Joe is gluten-free and absolutely safe for Coeliacs.
