Is Cookie Butter Gluten Free?

Generally no, it’s made from some form of crushed cookies or cookie dough that involves wheat/gluten in the original recipe. Unless you find a brand of cookie butter that is specifically gluten free, I would recommend being cautious. We previously wrote about Speculoos Cookie Butter from Trader Joe’s, a popular cookie butter product that is made from a similar, Biscoff style cookie. Biscoff also sells their own cookie butter products, but unfortunately these are not gluten free either.
