Blake’s Gluten-Free Chicken Pot Pie Frozen Meal Review

Having been gluten free for over 5 years now, I’ve had the chance to try a lot of different gf products and brands.

To help other people buying gluten free groceries at the store, I figured I would share my reviews of popular products and even unique products I find. I’ll try to cover a lot of different categories including frozen meals, alcohol, snacks, specialty snacks, and more. How the meal looks once complete:

This is how the chicken pot pie looks after the microwave. The crust is a bit hard and can get stuck to the edges making it kind of difficult to eat, but it’s pretty tasty and kind of nice having crispy edges.

General Thoughts about the Meal

Overall I enjoyed this frozen meal. It’s a bit small for my appetite, so I usually eat it with another meal or snack for lunch, but it’s still good. I enjoy the flavor of the gravy and the crust. It’s nice to have something that I rarely get to try anywhere else including when going out. GF chicken pot pies are not very easy to find!

The taste is a bit sweet for the crust and it’s also pretty salty inside, but it is not bad for a frozen meal that takes a little over five minutes to make. I will definitely get this again, and other Blake’s meals like their gluten-free mac & cheese and shepherd’s pie.

  3. How much is it? It’s usually somewhere between $3-$4 at grocery stores. View latest prices and where to buy on Blake’s website.
  4. How do you cook it? It takes 6-7 minutes in the microwave.
