The Canadian contract to make Somersby Cider is held and brewed by Carlsberg Canada Inc. It is listed as Apple flavored malt beverage. My wife had a really bad reaction to Somersby. About 1/6 or the ciders in Canada are listed Apple Flavored Ciders that are malt based. We have to be careful here in Canada as the contracts to produce the foods and drinks here are altered from other locations.
