Yard House shares this statement on their nutrition page:

‘WE CARE ABOUT FOOD. Which is why we prepare over 100 items from scratch in our kitchen every day. We are dedicated to giving you a wide selection of delicious food that’s right for you. For information on nutrition, gluten sensitive items, food allergies, and our vegetarian option Gardein™, see below.’

Yard House shares this additional statement on their allergens menu:

‘The information here details which menu items contain the most common allergens based on the information provided by our suppliers. We work to keep this information as up-to-date as possible, and suggest you confirm that the allergen guide used is the most current version available. Because all of our dishes are prepared-to-order, our normal kitchen operations may involve shared cooking and preparation areas. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that any menu item can be completely free of allergens. Items cooked on our grill or in our fryer present a special risk for cross-contamination, so we’ve clearly identified those for you. Unless noted, menu items include all fixed sides and sauces. If you have any questions about this information, please contact: 1-800-272-9864’

Summary of Gluten Free Menu Options at Yard House

Pro tips and a quick summary of everything gluten free at Yard House

  1. When you order at the restaurant or on the app for delivery/pickup, tell them you have an allergy or Celiac Disease so they take precautions with your food.
  2. You can get a lot of burgers, sandwiches, and steak options gluten free, along with plenty of sides and drinks. In my opinion, they have a pretty big and safe gf menu at yard House.
  3. They also offer various alcoholic beverages with gluten free alcohol options, so ask your server!
  4. Yard House has over 100 ratings on Find Me Gluten Free with an average of 3.5 stars. Many reviews mention a great experience with the GS options. Some of the low reviews were related to cross contamination and safety precautions, so please be cautious. Not all locations have the same training.
  5. Personal experiences here are great. I go to the Yard House locations around Boston and I have had various items including the GS Kale & Romaine Caesar with grilled chicken which was amazing. I also love getting the half yard of cider or seltzer. 😉 The staff is well trained and always acknowledges the allergy with a manager and/or gluten free flag or toothpick in the food.
