If you’re reading this article, I’m sure you already know how expensive gluten free products can be. Not only do you have to live with a difficult disease or allergy/intolerance, but you also have to pay more just to get food that you can have! Seems a little ridiculous, doesn’t it?
Well, that is going to change for the better soon!
The Daily Mirror reports that Aldi has plans to launch a range of Gluten Free Products that are 30% cheaper than what’s currently available on the market.
Gluten Free Aldi Products
Aldi is working on a wide variety of interesting and cost effective products that are gluten free.
Some of these GF products include:
- Pastas (Red Lentil Penne, Green Pea Fusili, Buckwheat Pasta)
- Dinner Kits (Indian Curry Meal, etc.)
- Dessert (Chocolate Brownies, Oat Bars)
- Snacks (Quinoa Bars, etc.)
When asked about gluten free products and the cost, Tony Baines, the Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi UK has said: ‘Whether it’s out of choice of necessity, buying and eating gluten-free foods shouldn’t come at an increased cost to families. With the ever-changing dietary needs of our customers, it’s our ambition to always meet those needs with a full range of products, at unbeatable prices.’
We couldn’t agree more. Are you excited about the new gluten free products coming to Aldi? Leave a comment below and let us know which product you’ll be trying first.
