While visiting Cape Cod, I had the chance to try this cool burger chain called The Knack. After finding a Celiac-safe gluten free burger and fries, I figured I had to share it on the blog too!
The Knack has two locations on the Cape in Massachusetts, one is in Hyannis and the other is in Orleans. Both locations offer gluten free options and have the same menu.
The company shares more about their story: We grew up here. We played on the Cape’s beaches, we swam in the sound and in the bay, and we savored every hour of the late summer sun. Most importantly, we ate. Burgers, lobster rolls, clam rolls, hot dogs, onion rings, shakes, ice cream…we love the Cape’s iconic food. We created the knack with one purpose in mind: to share the food that we grew up with, the food that hits the spot after a day at the beach, the food that defines summers on Cape Cod.
My Review
This place was amazing! I got the double classic cheeseburger with all the toppings (burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, house made pickles) and a side of french fries, which the staff confirmed were made in a separate fryer. Paired with their amazing homemade lemonade and this made for quite the lunch. I was stuffed after this meal, and for the Cape, I think the prices were really reasonable!
I highly recommend The Knack to anyone who is looking for gluten free options in the Cape Cod area of Massachusetts.
